About the Role
The Staff Accountant position supports the financial operations of Westreach Consulting, ensuring accurate recordkeeping, reliable reporting, and well-organized accounting processes. This role is focused exclusively on Westreach’s internal financial activities and plays an important part in maintaining the systems that support day-to-day operations and long-term planning.

The Staff Accountant contributes to this by supporting core accounting functions with attention to detail, professionalism, and sound judgment. This role works closely with internal stakeholders to help ensure financial processes are accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational needs.
Supporting general accounting activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Assisting with monthly close processes and internal financial reporting
Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Assisting with expense tracking and internal cost reporting
Supporting compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures
Preparing supporting schedules and documentation as needed
Assisting with audits, reviews, or internal financial inquiries
Contributing to process improvements that strengthen financial accuracy and efficiency
This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage recurring tasks while maintaining accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience (required)
Prior experience in staff accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations (preferred)
Familiarity with accounting systems and spreadsheets (preferred)
Experience supporting internal accounting processes in a professional services or consulting environment is a plus
